SESSION: Legacy Planning for Lifelong Homeownership

  • Trusts, Probate & Fiduciary Basics (Jennifer Felten): Learn how estate planning tools can protect your most valuable asset—your home—and help avoid costly legal hurdles down the line. 

  • Understanding Prop 19 & Property Tax Planning (Keith Taylor): Explore what changes—and what stays the same—when transferring property, and how to plan accordingly to minimize tax burdens. 


SESSION: From Here to There – Homeownership Demystified

  • The Hidden Costs of Homeownership (Keith Taylor): From property taxes to HOAs and Mello-Roos bonds—learn what often gets overlooked and how to budget for the full cost of owning a home. 

  • Your Roadmap to Homeownership (Manny Ayala, Rob Obedoza, Denise Pomboonreung): Hear directly from housing experts on credit counseling, pre-qualification, insurance, and support programs that can make your dream of ownership a reality.

Fire Resilience in Ventura County
