"Community Voices" - In seeking to understand the housing struggles experienced by so many in in our community, HOME embarked on a video project to give voice to people who live and work in Ventura County but are finding it increasingly difficult to do so. With help of several organizations we connected with seven individuals who bravely shared their stories with us.
Francisco (Salvation Army) Laura (Spirit of Santa Paula). Cynthia (County Area Agency on Aging) Vannity (Spirit of Santa Paula)
Joshaun (TAY Tunnel) Roberta (Habitat for Humanity) Elizabeth (RAIN)
This video is still a work-in-progress. If you are interested in helping develop it into a short film, please contact HOME.
If you have a housing solution for any of these individuals, please contact the organization noted above or HOME.
Thank you also to film students at El Camino High School and USD student/interviewer Virginia Fraser.
